Belated Bday Present…

I didn’t know what to get for my friend, Stella, for her birthday so I decided to make her something. I was thinking that maybe she could place this frame on her office desk or something.

I added on the two little white doves only after taking the 1st photo as I felt that something was still missing.

This was really my weekend accomplishment as I didn’t manage to do any work, other than creating two birthday presents.

I will be posting about the other present very soon 🙂

Every Ending has a New Beginning

One of my colleagues is leaving and I wanted to make her something special. I’m not good with words so I don’t like writing cards.

I finally decided to give her a customised bottle filled with mini m & m and a name label so that she can place it at her new workplace.

Wishing her all the best and hope she likes my 小小心意 🙂

Let New Adventures Begin…

After having a good night’s sleep, I tend to have more energy to implement my inspiration…

I customised this container for the intern at my workplace who will be completing her internship at the end of this week. Then I placed skittles into the container. Now it looks so colourful and cheery…reminds me of my favourite disney movie “Up”.
Hope she enjoys her upcoming break and her future endeavours into the working life 🙂

Four-leaf Clover Coaster

Whenever anyone tells me he/she needs more luck, the four-leaf clover comes straight to my mind as it is one of the most common good luck symbols.

So I decided to draw some four-leaf clovers onto this plain round cork coaster. I think it would be a great gift for the next person who tells me he/she needs more good luck 😉

Valentine School of Fish

Valentine’s Day is approaching so I made some presents for my friends. I designed the containers and ziplock bags and filled it with cute cheesy fish biscuits that I bought from cold storage.

It’s just my little way of showing appreciation to those around me =)

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!

Shaolin Master to the Rescue

I chanced upon these cute little handphone holders and bought it for my uncle who teaches martial arts in Canada. I bought him two holders so that he can place one at his workplace and the other one at home.

Of course, I couldn’t resist not customising the holders before giving it to him…heehee! Although my uncle doesn’t like to be called “Master”, I feel that Master Tan suits him best!

A Sketch of Us

This year, we will be away for Christmas so I made him an X’mas gift in advance. I am really not talented in drawing portraits and this is already my best. After completing my drawing, I bought an asymmetrical wooden photo frame and added some words in silver vinyl.

This idea was actually shared with me by S. Her drawing is definitely much better than mine. She also taught me how to achieve the correct proportions by placing my paper on top of the ipad and tracing the outline of my photo. Thanks to her advice, my drawing looks less distorted than when I first drew it.

To S…I’m still waiting for you to be my guest blogger…Pali-pali  😉
